It is the cemetery of the people of Mecca, and it is on the way to Mina, The grave of Um-Al-Momeneen Bibi Khadija (the first wife of Holy Prophet) and that of,Prophets’s son Qasim, Asma Bint AbuBaker, Abu-Talib, Abdullah Bin Zubair, and other members of the Holy Prophet’s family , may Allah be pleased with them all, are located in this cemetery.
Mount Arafat is also known as the Mount of Mercy (Jabal ar-Rahmah).The hill is the place where the Prophet Muhammad(SAW) stood and delivered the Farewell Sermon to the Muslims who had accompanied him for the Hajj towards the end of his life. The pilgrims spend the whole day on Arafah supplicating to Allah to forgive their sins and praying for personal strength in the future.
At this place Jins [gaints] heard Hazrat Mohammad [peace be upon him] reciting the Holy Quran and accepted Islam. They [Jins, gaints] went to their tribe and told about the Holy Quran and the Last Holy Prophet.
This Cave, the sanctum of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the place of His devotions and meditations and the sacred spot where the Holy Quran began to be revealed. The Cave is situated on mount Al-Noor on way to Mina near Makkah and its peak is visible from a great distance. Muhammad (peace be upon him) had just stepped into the forty-first year of his life, when during a night in the month of Ramadan the first 5 verses of the Surah Al-Alaque were Revealed to him.
Jabal Thawr (Arabic: جبل ثور‎) (Mount Bull) is the name of a mountain in Saudi Arabia.During the Hijrah, Muhammad and Abu Bakr took refuge in this cave, with the help of Abu Bakr's family and slave. When the Quraish came to look for them, Abu Bakr worriedly told Muhammad that they were only two people, but Muhammad assured him that Allah was the third in the cave. When the Quraish reached the cave, they thought that nobody could go to a cave with a spider web spread across the mouth and birds nesting near it.
Masjid e Taneem is a mosque acts as Miqat (a station for putting on pilgrims' garments) for people living in Mecca.This mosque is also known as Masjid -e- Ayesha since Prophet Mohammed 's wife Ayesha had put her Ihram (restriction on Pilgrimage) from this place once. If someone is living in Mecca and wants to perform Umra (pilgrimage to Mecca) then he should go to this place, enter into the state of Ihram and then return to Mecca so that the condition of traveling for the pilgrims is also fulfilled.
The most blessed and spiritual graveyard in the world: Jannatul-Baqi, wherein lie a great number of companions, wives, daughters and other family members of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. In the time of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, this grave yard was thought to be outside of Madina but now it is adjacent to Masjid an Nabwi. Al-Baqi‘ is a powerful place. Other cities consider it their pride to host a single saint; but here there are hundreds.
The Battle of Uhud was the second battle between the believers of truth (Islam) and the non believers. Beloved Prophet Hazrat Syedina Muhammadur Rasool Sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam said “ I Love Uhud and Uhud Loves me”.Prophet Muhammadur Sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam said “ If any person who conveys Salaams ( Salutations to Hazrat Syedina Ameer Hamza Razi Allahu Anhu” near his grave will get a reward as if he has conveyed salam to me” So convey salaam and visit his grave.

Masjid al-Qiblatain (المسجد القبلتین) (Mosque of the two Qiblas) is a mosque in Medina that is historically important for Muslims as the place where the Islamic prophet Muhammad, leading the prayer, is said to have been commanded to change the direction of prayer (qibla) from Jerusalem to Mecca. Thus it uniquely contained two prayer niches (mihrabs). Recently the mosque was renovated, removing the old prayer niche facing Jerusalem and leaving the one facing Mecca.We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is God unmindful of what they do.By the rise of the Ottoman empire the mosque was maintained by Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent who renovated and reconstructed it.
The defeat at the battle of Badr and the temporary victory at Ohod had made the Qureshite community have one important dream - The destruction of Islam and Prophet Mohammed(pbuh&hf).The Holy Prophet(pbuh&hf) received the news of the imminent invasion a few days before their arrival at Madina. He consulted his companions, and Hazrat Salman al-Farisi(a.r.) counselled to dig a trench around Madina to prevent the invaders from entering it. The Prophet(pbuh&hf) commanded the Muslims to implement the plan. The number of days required to dig the trench is reported to be between six and twenty days as per different historical accounts.Witnessing the trench, the invaders were surprised and realized that it had become difficult for them to enter Madina. Thus they found it necessary to besiege Madina instead of invading it directly.
The Quba' Masjid is the first mosque that was ever built in Islam.
